And to entice customers to upgrade their devices, the Big Three telcos are offering some generous deals, with one telco even offering a massive $750 discount across all of Samsung’s new foldable devices, and another as much as $800 on the top-end model.

Optus has simplified budgeting for a new Samsung foldable because regardless of which foldable you choose, you’ll score $750 off the life of your plan.
That’s a saving of $20.83 per month over 36 months.

Telstra preorder deals on Samsung’s latest foldables
By comparison, Telstra’s offers work on a sliding scale based on which foldable you choose. However, a larger discount than Optus is offering is up for grabs but only if you’re after the most expensive phone.
Customers looking to get the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra on a plan will save $800. If you’re after a Galaxy Z Fold 8, you’ll save $700, while those who purchase the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will save $500.
That’s a saving of either $22.22 per month, $19.44 per month or $13.88 per month respectively over a 36-month plan.
These discounts are applied across the length of your plan, plus you can get up to $300 in bonus credit if you trade in an old, eligible device.

Vodafone customers who lock in either the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will score a $700 discount while a $500 discount is up for grabs on the Galaxy Z Flip 8. Once again, you’ll get $300 in bonus credit if you trade in an old, eligible device.
That’s a saving of either $19.44 per month or $13.88 per month, respectively on a 36-month plan.

When are Samsung’s latest foldable preorder and release dates?
Customers can preorder Samsung’s latest foldable devices now ahead of a release date scheduled for August 14.
How much do Samsung’s latest foldables cost?
Before any discounts or deals are applied, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 starts at $2,699, which makes it a little bit more affordable than the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is priced at a minimum of $2,999, which is a $100 increase on the previous model, the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Finally, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is now priced at a minimum of $1,949, which is a $150 increase on the previous model.
If you’re after more storage price, these versions have increased by as much as $350 year-on-year. The Galaxy Z Flip 8’s 512GB model is now $2,249 from $1,999, while the 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is now $3,299 from $3,099 and the 1TB model is now $3,899 from $3,549.
